Executive EMBA Project

The project report to be submitted by each individual will be supervised by the faculty with the help of the participants' organisations. This will help the participants to integrate what they have learned during Executive MBA programme and to apply it to an issue concerning their organisations. It will give the participants an opportunity to provide a tangible benefit to their organisations, alongside the ongoing benefits of applying the knowledge acquired from the program to their responsibilities at work.

Participant Performance Assessment

Participants in each course will be assessed using appropriate instruments, which include individual and group assignments, exercises, projects, class participation and examinations of various kinds. The nature of the assessment tools will vary with each course.

Distance Learning and the Use of Technology

Since there is a significant component of distance learning, technology plays an integral part in the LUMS Executive MBA. A host of on-line services enable participants to work on assignments, tutorials, projects and also to keep in touch with course participants and the faculty when they are offsite. The use of distance learning technologies helps in exchanging ideas and business information, and in collecting and delivering course material.
LUMS Executive MBA participants are strongly encouraged to use different technologies to access the web, exchange information and to use web-development tools. The University’s technology resources are available to all participants for presentations and conferencing.
As an Executive MBA participant, you will use our information technology systems to:
  • Exchange electronic mail with faculty and fellow Executive MBA participants
  • Participate in electronic conferencing
  • Engage in on-line chats and follow up discussions
  • Transfer files and attachments
  • Access an electronic repository of information using the virtual library
  • Access discussion boards
  • Access the other available resources of the University
Other examples of information technology at LUMS campus:
  • Participants’ notebook connectivity
  • Internet ready residential rooms
  • Printing facilities all over campus
  • Information Centre approach to computing labs
* The University reserves the right to change its programmes and policies at any time, without prior notice.
