- LUMS Graduate Admission Test (LGAT) scores

| |
| A minimum
of 16 years of education leading to a Master's
or a four year Bachelor's Degree is required.
Possible prior Degrees from universities recognised
by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan
include. |

- B.Sc /BE Electrical Engineering
- B.Sc /BE Computer Engineering
- B.Sc /BE Computer Systems Engineering
- B.Sc /BE Electronic Engineering
- MSc Electronics
- B.Sc (Hons) CS LUMS

| |
| All applicants
should have at least 60% / FIRST DIVISION marks
at intermediate, undergraduate and graduate
levels |
| |
| Successful
applicants may be required to overcome any deficiencies,
as determined by the faculty, by taking additional
units over and above the ones deemed essential
for the fulfillment of requirements for the
award of the MS or PhD degrees.

| Candidates,
who have degrees from such institutions that
are not listed with the Higher Education Commission
(HEC), Pakistan will be required to get the
equivalence certificate from the Commission.

| LUMS
Graduate Admission Test (LGAT) |
| |
| The LUMS Graduate
Admission Test (LGAT) is a requirement for applicants
to the MS/PhD Programme. International students
can take GRE. LGAT will be conducted simultaneously
in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. |

Interview Performance |
| |
| Applicants
to the PhD programme (CS & CMPE) will have
to appear for an interview. They will be initially
prescreened on the basis of academic performance
and LGAT scores. After the prescreening stage,
they will be called for an interview |
