Programme Structure
|
|
|
|
The MS Programme has a flexible
structure and can accommodate students with
varied backgrounds. The period of study for
this programme for a particular person depends
on the individual's prior education and experience.
Students holding degrees in Computer Science
(CS), Computer Engineering (CMPE) and related
studies can complete the programme requirements
in less than two years. However, such students
will need to produce course descriptions from
their previous study in order to get waivers
for prerequisite courses. A person with a non-CS/CMPE
background may have to spend additional time
in completing prerequisite courses; the duration,
in this case, will depend on the nature of prior
courses taken. |

MS Computer
Science |
|
|
|
The MS in
CS programme aims at developing professionals
who are equipped with skills to cope with the
diverse and ever changing field of Computer
Science. The programme provides students with
a solid theoretical foundation along with knowledge
of latest trends in specialized areas. |
|
|
|
The two-year MS Programme
provides rigorous training that not only provides
a reliable understanding of systems and processes
and technologies but also equips them with the
ability to design new and imaginative solutions
to problems. Those applicants who have a background
in Computer Science can complete the programme
in one-year by taking the required 45 units. |
