Admission Criteria

| The admissions
process at LUMS is competitive and transparent.
Applications are assessed purely on the basis
of merit. The basic requirements for applying
to the PhD Programme in Management are as follows
|

- GMAT/GRE must have been taken in the last
five years. LMAT may also be taken.
- Academic Background: MBA or a Masters
degree in a related field* (e.g., economics,
psychology, industrial engineering, mathematics,
etc.) with graduation in high standing.
Undergraduate degree holders with 16 years
of education and strong credentials will
also be considered. Such candidates will
be required to do extra course work that
will provide them with the necessary background
for undertaking doctoral level courses *
- Application: Well-thought out application
and statement of research purpose
- References: 2 academic refereese

* Candidates coming from a non-management/business
academic background may be required to take
additional modules/courses in the MBA Programme
to provide them with the requisite background
knowledge needed to successfully participate
in the Programme. |
