| It is important
for us, a developing nation, to realize that
our most valuable resource is our people. Giving
these people entrepreneurship education not
only will generate employment but will also
encourage economic development and growth. According
to a paper presented by Abraham Maslow, “the
most valuable 100 people to bring into a deteriorating
society would not be economists, or politicians,
or engineers, but rather 100 entrepreneurs.”
Entrepreneurs hold the key to rapid technological
development and employment. They not only provide
a livelihood for themselves but also create
employment for others, thereby easing up social
tensions growing in our society, where so many
are deprived. |
