Suleman Dawood School of Business

The Suleman Dawood School of Business offers an intensive full-time MBA programme and a modular Executive MBA. In addition, its Executive Centre, the Rausing Executive Development Centre offers short duration programmes for executives. The school also carries out rigorous economic and management research through the LUMS Research Centre, The Small & Medium
Enterprise Center, Social Enterprise Development programmes and the Case Research Centre.

Business leaders actively interact with both faculty and students through frequent visits and seminars. Additionally, industry linkages are strengthened by the involvement of MBA faculty in teaching and training in the Executive Development Programmes that are attended annually by more than 2,000 senior executives and managers from the corporate world.

The excellence of the LUMS Business School has been recognized by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), who have recently awarded the South Asian Quality System(SAQS) accreditation to the Suleman Dawood School of Business. This award, valid for 5 years, will entitle the School to use the SAQS Accreditation Quality Label, signifying the continuous quality improvement system benchmarked with the leading management schools in the world.

To ensure quality instruction, the faculty is actively engaged in research, which expands the frontiers of knowledge in their own respective fields of specialization. Active research keeps the faculty in touch with the current business environment and enables them to gauge future directions.

The Business School faculty at LUMS include PhDs from some of the best institutions of the world, such as Stanford, Pennsylvania, Cambridge, McGill, Oxford and others.
