Chaminda is a distinguished LUMS alumnus, social innovator, educator and technology strategist with over 25 years of international experience spanning industry, academia, research, and consultancy across more than 20 countries. As Co-Founder of FabLanka Foundation, he has led groundbreaking initiatives in 3D printing and Industry 4.0 to empower communities, advance innovation, and drive inclusive economic growth in Sri Lanka. He also serves as CEO/Managing Director of Dil Consultancy, teaches at leading universities in Sri Lanka and India, and is widely recognised as a sought-after keynote speaker globally.
A recipient of the LUMS Vice Chancellor’s Alumni Achievement Award (2020) for his contributions to digital technology for development, Chaminda’s journey reflects leadership grounded in impact, knowledge-sharing, and regional collaboration. His recent engagements include international fellowships and faculty exchange programmes, further strengthening cross-border learning and innovation.
