Leading Pakistan's Future Through Public Service
Each year, thousands of Pakistan's brightest students compete for positions in the Central Superior Services (CSS), one of the nation's most demanding assessments. Over the past decade, LUMS alumni have consistently stood out, with over 200 graduates qualifying in these exams. Many have scored exceptionally and have even secured top national rankings.

Most recently, 13 graduates qualified for the CSS 2024 examinations, continuing a decade-long tradition of excellence in public service.

These graduates join an exceptional legacy: in 2021, LUMS alumni swept the top three national positions in the examinations. Hafiz Ali Naeem Sheikh, a graduate of BSc Management Science 2017, placed first and was inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS). Meanwhile, Ahsan Fraz Gondal, a graduate of BSc Accounting and Finance 2019, secured second position, and Haroon Sahu from BSc Economics and Mathematics 2020 placed third.
In 2019, LUMS achieved a milestone: the highest pass ratio among all Pakistani universities. That year, 24 LUMS graduates qualified for civil service positions, with Uzair Ali Khan from the Class of 2018 securing third position nationally and Abdul Basit Siddiqui from the Class of 2012 achieving fifth position. Both were inducted into the Pakistan Administrative Services.
