Saima has spent more than two decades at the intersection of academia, industry, and entrepreneurship. Throughout her career, she has championed experiential learning, startup development, and innovation-driven education, empowering aspiring entrepreneurs to transform ideas into impactful and sustainable ventures.
As Head of Operations at the LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship (LCE), Saima played a key role in strengthening Pakistan's entrepreneurial ecosystem by leading startup incubation programmes, fostering strategic partnerships, and supporting founders as they navigated the journey from idea to enterprise. Today, through Impacterra, she continues to mentor entrepreneurs, design innovation programmes, and collaborate with organisations committed to creating meaningful social and economic impact.
In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Saima serves as Adjunct Faculty at LUMS, where she inspires future business leaders by bridging academic learning with real-world entrepreneurial experience. Her outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship education have earned her the ACEEU Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year 2024 award, as well as the LUMS Vice Chancellor's Alumni Achievement Award.
