The Centre for Business and Society at LUMS invites you to a timely panel discussion on the recent floods in Punjab. The session will highlight the lived realities of affected communities, explore their socio-economic consequences, and spark dialogue on how society can build stronger resilience against future climate-induced disasters.
The panel will bring together policymakers and academics who can offer insights into systemic responses and reforms, alongside practitioners and humanitarian organisations who have been directly involved in relief efforts and continue to mobilise for flood recovery. Together, these perspectives will open a vital conversation on how policy, community action, and partnerships can shape more effective disaster preparedness and response strategies in Punjab.
