A legend among us. Founding Pro Chancellor, Syed Babar Ali, graced Homecoming 2025 with his presence. Despite being advised to avoid the cold, he couldn’t miss welcoming alumni from around the world! "Stay connected to LUMS, keep giving to LUMS as it will serve the next generations," he said. 

Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ali Cheema, addressed the LUMS community and said, "Let us pledge today to expand our work, strengthen our partnership, and take LUMS' impact to scale, making it not only meaningful, but truly transformational."
 

Pro Chancellor, Mr. Abdul Razak Dawood, reflected on LUMS' remarkable 40-year journey. "When we look at you, we go back in our memories and remember the first bunch of students that joined us. And now we have moved so, so far along. The journey has not been a journey; it's been an adventure. LUMS has the reputation it does because of you. Wherever you are in this world, we are proud of you,” he said.

Ali Ibrahim, MBA 2009 alum and newly appointed Director of Office Advancement, addresses the audience. "It was exactly 18 years ago when I first stepped into this fabulous place as a student, and now, I come back into this important role with a lot of gratitude and respect."
