The agreement was formalised on May 18 in the presence of Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor, LUMS, and Rizq Co-Founders, and proud LUMS alumni from the BSc Class of 2017, Mr. Musa Amir, Mr. Huzaifa Ahmad, and Mr. Qasim Javaid.
Rooted in a shared vision of educational equity, the partnership will help talented students from diverse backgrounds pursue their academic ambitions at LUMS and build pathways towards meaningful impact.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ali Cheema shared, “At LUMS, we aspire to expand scholarship opportunities and make quality education more accessible for talented students across the country. It is deeply encouraging to see our alumni leading impactful initiatives and giving back in ways that will empower future generations.”
Reflecting on the partnership, Rizq’s co-founders shared, “The LUMS community has been a constant source of support since Rizq’s inception in 2015. As we step into our next decade, the Rizq Scholarship Fund is our way of giving back and helping talented students realise their potential.”
The collaboration reflects the enduring connection between LUMS and its alumni, and the role of such partnerships in creating opportunities for promising students to learn, grow, and contribute to Pakistan’s future.
